PCC had the opportunity to pay it forward at our Lanterns and Letter Writing event. Participants created some beautiful lanterns with the help of Nassau Arts and Crafting leader, Nicole. The lanterns were bright and vibrant and took some handwork. After creating their lanterns, we had the chance to fill out cards for the Braid Mission. The Braid Mission is a non-profit that distributes cards to teens and children in foster care. We created birthday cards and cards with positive messages and affirmations. We hope that these cards bring smiles to the faces of the individuals who receive them. The evening filled our cup and hearts.
